This policy explains what information Break60 ("we") collects when you use break60.com and what we do with it.

What we collect

Without an account: your builds, scores, and streak are saved in your browser on your device. We keep basic server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and to keep the service running.

With an account: your name, email address, password (stored only as a one-way hash), and timezone, plus your rounds, scores, earnings, and league memberships. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and Google account ID. We don't receive your Google password.

When you contact us: your name, your email, and your message.

How we use it

We use this information to run the game, show leaderboards, send account emails (verification, password reset, and notifications you've turned on), prevent abuse, and improve Break60. We don't sell your personal information.

What other players see

Leaderboards show your first name and last initial, along with your scores and earnings. Shared scorecards show your score and finish, never your build.

Cookies

We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising cookies.

Service providers

We use a few service providers to run Break60, including our web host, an email delivery provider, Cloudflare, and (for some features) OpenAI. They process data only on our behalf.

Retention and deletion

We keep your account data until you delete your account. To delete your account and its data, contact us.

Children

Break60 isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date above. If the change affects your account, we'll also email you.
